Movie Weekend

It’s been quite a long time since I’ve had a movie marathon over the weekend – 2 movies over the weekend at the cinema. Anyway, this is the season for movies… back to back release of Hollywood’s blockbusters. Watched the “Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End” (Pirates 3) and “Shrek 3″. There’s been quite a lot of trilogies this summer.

Anyway, I shall refrain from reviewing both the movies here. Just a word of recommendation;

• Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End
  …is a nice continuation and ending to the Dead Mans Chest. The visuals were great with a good story line to end it (luckily its not a trilogy where the build up was great but ended abruptly).
• Shrek 3
  …is a funny continuation to the fairy tale in the land of Far Far Away. A good laugh and some good moral lessons to be learn from the story – Be yourself, and not what others think of us.

And there’s more great movies coming up in the following weeks to come. Just hope I can spare some time and get some great company for the coming shows too. Guess I’m really gonna be poorer this summer, RM11 per movie (on weekends).
